StuPid PiG

Today my last organic chemistry lab...everyone is given a unknown to test about it..
It happen same as my first unknown..~~~.every test i do...is negative result!! *~*
why other people can get their result positive?why cant i?

oh....my god...really feel bad....what the stupid organic compound that the lab assistant give me? why other can find theirs so easily?why ?feel very very very down....(and also very very smelly in the lab, especially all the toxic toxic gas)

i start to "lost in the sea" duno wat test should i carry on....

Lunch time.....my friend help me online to find any information about this stupid thing...
first she did it....we guess my stupid thing is "p-tertbutylbenzoic acid" ....i seem like got a float throwing to me in the middle of sea....i see HOPE~~

then i realize that the float is no air~~~ =(
the stupid compound didnt match the melting point....
oh...no....lost in the sea again........

i try to ask for help....tutor said the melting point not match..then should not be that compound...some negative test also fail to accept this is the compound.....and give me some other compounds"p-tertbutylbenzaldehyde""p-tertbutylphenol"....etc
but all this cant even match the result i obtain for compound..

this moment ...i feel like i dont wan to do anymore....fed up...everyone carry out their experiment.....i sitting there feel lost~~~~~~

help help.............

is it the stupid compound been polluted by others? thats why the melting point such a different from the theoretical?

my friend said the best way to do is ask the lab assistant...she know the compound..maybe she can give some clue.....

ALL because of the stupid unknown's melting point make me lost in the sea!!!
